THE LATE T. B. MISSEN

CORONER'S INQUEST. An inquest was held in connection with the sudden death of the late Mr. T. B. Missen, on Monday afternoon. Mrs Missen gave evidence as to the suddenness of death at half-past five on Sunday morning. Dr. Sinclair held a postmorten examination. He stated that he was called to the deceased about 6 .a.m. on Sunday morning; death had taken place a few minutes earlier. He found the deceased's heart muscle degenerated; the ventricles dilated and the valves incompetent. There w'ere se-" condary changes in the arteries. He considered the cause of death was over-strain of ;a weak and dilated heart Nothing could have been done for Mm. The trouble was probably aggravated by over-work.

A verdict was given in' accordance with the doctor's evidence
