GERMAN MASTER SPY ARRESTED Received 9.30 a.m. NEW YORK, May 3. Lieut-Commander Karl Rodeger, a German naval officer, has been arrested as a master spy. He was connected with the activities of a German named Madame Kevcreichtorica, who was last week arrested on suspicion of being the agent of a German spy in Washington. .AMERICA’S ARMY FOR FRANCE.. LIMITED ONLY BY TRANSPORT FACILITIES. Received 9.20 a.m. WASHINGTON, May 3. Mr. Baker, in his evidence before the Senate Committee said America’s army for France would be only limited by her ability to equip and transport men. He could not present figures, but said equipping and transporting facilities, were constantly increasing. AMERICA AND HOME RULE. A REPORT DENIED. Received 9.5 a.m. NEW YORK, May 3. The New York Times’ Washington correspondent states there is no foundation for the report that the United States Government has intimated to the B'ritish that Home Rule should be granted to Ireland before conscription is imposed.
