Notification is given' in" our advertising columns that entries for the annual competition for the best five acres of Swedes in connection with the Taihape Winter Show will close with the Secretary on Wednesday, 9th May next. Arrangements will be made to have the judging done prior to the 19th of May. A cash prize of £5 5s is offered for the best crop and £2 for the secend best.
