TAIHAPE SALE. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Taihape on Wednesday, the 10th instant, when a fair yarding of sheep came forward. Biding was spirited and all lines met with ready sale. Lambs were in great demand and prices were in favour of sellers. We quote: Mixed small lambs 11/8; mixed lambs 13/; mixed aged ewes 17/; , 2-tooth ewes 26/; 2 and 4 tooth wethers 27/7; P. and F. ewes 28/3.
taihape sale; Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd, report having held their fortnightly sale of stock at the Taihape yards on the 10th inst., when they had a large yarding of sheep, including some nice lines of lambs. A good attendance of buyers were present and bidding was brisk throughout thS sale; good lambs being firmer in-’price and meeting with strong competition. Twotooth wethers were also in demand and sold well. Any lines of soundmouth ewes, big frames and good condition met with fair enquiry. Quotations: —Extra good lines 18s, good lines 14s to 15s 6d, medium 10s 6d to 12s; cull lambs 4/6 to 6/3, 2th wethers 25s to 26/6, 4th wethers 29/6 to 31/, s.m. ewes good condition, big frames 18s to 225, medium ewes s.m. to 15s, cull ewes low condition to 12s, 2th ewes 25/6*
