THE PREMIER'S STATEMENT.
WELLINGTON, this day.
Discussing the business which will occupy the session commencing early next month, the Premier states it will he confined to the passing of supplies and such financial legislation as will -be necessary, pending the return to 'the Dominion of Sir Joseph Ward and himself. It will be essential to pass the usual Address-Jn-Reply motion - , but after that is disposed of it\s not anticipated the House will delay the passing of the measures submitted. The
,^9ion .might- last a week or ten days. Sir Joseph Ward and himself v do not anticipate being absent for more than fCBO .torfive . inonths. Parliament WiH assemble shortly after their fetuxn, and work till Christmas or latejr.
