(To the Editor) Sir, —Before leaving Taihape, where I have been spending the week-end, I would like to take tho opportunity of congratulating Mr. Smith, M.P.,. Eev_ Stent, the ladies of the Women’s Working Club, and other individuals for their prompt action and good work; in sending relief to the struggling set* tiers and workers who lost everything in last week’s bush fires.
