There was beautiful weather and a large attendance for the races to-day. Results:—

Autmun Steeplechase.—Fleet Lady 1, Artillery Bill 2, Bonny 3. King’s Plate (2 miles). —Wallace Isinglass 1, Desert Gold 2, Lingle 3. The only starters. Desert Gold held a twenty lengths lead a mile from home. At the five furlong post she led only by two lengths. Wallace Isinglass drew up on entering the straight. The mare failed to respond, and Wallace Isinglass drew ahead and won by IS lengths. Time 3.26§. Farewell Handicap.—Pah King 1, Uska 2, Petracia 3. Won by a head. (The King’s Plate is a sweepstake of £lO each, with £IOOO added. Second horse receives £200.)
