DEATH OF HON. A. T. McGINNITY.
NELSON, this day.
Obituary: Hon. A. T. McGinnity, aged sixty-nine. Deceased was for many years a leading citizen, and took part in the Maori war. He was a lieutenant in the Grcytown Cavalry in the sixties, secretary to the Telegraph Department in the seventies; later he retired from the Department. He was a barrister and solicitor in Nelson for many years, and took a prominent part in public matters, especially in education. He was appointed a Legislative Councillor in 1914, ; ~
