“ABOMINABLE” BOLO.

HOW THE TRIAL ENDED,

London, Feb 17.

The “ Petit Parisien” understands that JBolo is applying for a re-trial on the ground that a hostile witness was seen conferring with Colonel Voyer ' (President of the Court) and Maitre Mornet (prosecutor) during an adjournment of the Court. The Paris Press declares that the verdict accords with the sentiments of the people. The “Figaro” says that Boloism hai lost its godfather, if not its chief. The “Times” correspondent at Paris reports that the Public Prosecutor’s final scathing indictment at the trial of 8010 Pasha thrilled everybody. He admitted that the trial had not revealed who was behind 8010, but affirmed, “There is only one treason affair in Prance. The other cases form a chapter out of the same book. This judgment will hasten the “conviction of others. 8010 was a huckster of an abominable conspiracy. Behind him were greater criminals. His acts are only one manifestation of what Mr Lloyd George calls ‘Boloism/ To-day's trial is the first stage. There is only one reply to those who doubt the past, present, or future of France—That is a firing party on the execution ground at Vincennes.”

The Court’s decision was unanimous. It was received silently in Court, but with cheers by the crowds outside.
