o SATISFACTORY MEASURES IN IRELAND.' Received 8.45. LONDON, March 6. In the House of Commons, to-day, Mr. Bonar Law said the Government was informed that the measures being taken in Ireland were having the desired result. The deliberations of the Irish Convention were not yet ended.
STOLEN MONEY RESTORED,
Received 10.5. LONDON, March 6. It is reported that £5500 stolen from the bank manager at Ennistmore, County Clare, has been restored, with a note stating that no robbery was intended. The money was taken merely to prevent its use at the fair to buy cattle which was to be exported. f DISTURBANCES AT LIMERICK. Received 11.55. LONDON, March 6. Rioting has been renewed in Lim'ferick, and several soldiers, police and civilians injured. Disturbances leading to baton charges were general, and more trouble is expected.
