A PERSONAL APPEAL.
If the men, tired, mud-stained, and hungry, just from the trenches, could knock at your door to-night, how quickly you would admit them! With, what eagerness you would provide the welcome meal! You would do this in . your own homes—help the Y.M.C.A. to do it for you in the camps and the trenches where you cannot. In Palestine and Mesopotamia, , within view of the Sphinx and the Pyramids, in the valleys of France and the plains of Flanders, in the cities, villages and training-camps of the Homeland, the sign of the Red Triangle bids welcome in the name of the Y.M.C.A. to the sons of New Zealand who have rallied to the Flalgl In billets and training camps, s is the bases, depots and rest camps, on the lines of communication and in the trenches, right up to the forward lines with our New Zealand troops, the Y.M.C.A. is working tirelessly. The cost is great, the need is continuous and imperative. To meet the' financial necessities and enable us to advance with our victorious troops as they fight their way to final triumph and a lasting peace, we earnestly appeal to you to do your utmost towards making Red Triangle Day a success; remembering that nothing we can do for the brave men fighting our battles can equal or compare with what they are doing for us.
