HOTEL BURNED IN BLENHEIM

BLENHEIM, this day.

The Royal Hotel, of 27 rooms, owned by A. D. Kennedy, Wellington, and leased to Robert Cann, was totally destroyed by fire on Saturday night. The fire started in an upstairs bedroom, and the old building burnen fiercely. Insurances: Building, £4OO in National, £IOOO in London and Liverpool; £4lO on furniture and effects; £6O on billiard table, and £5lO on stock in the Sun Office; personal effects, £l5O in North British.
