The Saxon official court newspaper states that if the throne of Lithuania were definitely offered Saxony the Government would consider to what extent the proposal was comportable with Saxon Crown interests, Saxony's historic ties with Poland constitute a grave objection, involving the risk of offending Polish opinion.
