A. & P. SHOW.
NON-COMPETING EXHIBITS.
Reference to other than competing exhibits was crowded out of yesterday's report of the Show. There were other exhibits, however, de-
serve particular notice, among them being several farm implements shown by Messrs Manson and Barr, of Palmerston North. One of that firm's latest improved seed drills, a disc harrow, chaffcutters and other farm adjuncts attracted considerable attention, and much literature was distributed in connection therewith. Messrs Levin and Co. exhibited the Lister engine, which is particularly adapted for driving shearing plants, owing to its steady, even running. Taihape Motors, Ltd. had a Teally fine show of cars, a feature of which was the undeniably fine Dodge Car, for which Motors Ltd. are the Taihape district agents. In all this firm had some dozen or more cars on the ground, many of which had a large. ticket notifying that they were sold. . Mr. V. Nicholls, of the Station Garage, exhibited the deservedly famous Overland Car, for which he is the dig.. trict agent. The Overland has a reputation surpassed by few cars, and Mr. Nicholls did very satisfactory business, having booked several orders.
Local manufacturers and agents should be encouraged to have a stand at local A. a'nd P. Shows, particularly those who make or sell anything pertaining to the farm, as these articles tend to make the exhibition as a whole much more complete. WEIGHT JUDGING. Following are the results of the weight, judging of the sneep at the Show on Wednesday:—E. G. Frederick. Marton, 1241bs (corect weight), 1; D. O'Leary, Taihape, 1231b5, and E, Bishop Taihape, 1231bs (equal), 2.
