To be given by the Wanganui Maori Ladies' Committee, under the patronage of the Lady Liverpool League in aid our Wounded Soldiers' Fund. Present: Mrs Gregor McGregor; Director, Rev. Paora Te Muera; Hon. Sec., Miss M. Tahana. The folliwing is the- programme:— Part 1: Overture.—Miss Moringa Reupena (chief accompanist.); , "The Maori- at Home,"—(l) Still scene of the Marae; (2) The Maori'at his daily occupation; (3) *• welcoming visiters; (4) Hakas, speeches, and incantation of welcome; (5) Receiving the guests; (6) A Maori feast or banquet, with a Maori' hangi (oven).and food actually demonstrated-on the stage.
