KING’S THEATRE.

In the “White Raven,” The new Me. j tra-Rolt'e wonderplay, in which Ethel Barrymore, the celebrated star, will be seen, a role as startling as it is unique is played by Miss Barrymore in a manner that emphasises the wonderful art that has put her at the head of her profession. Many scenes in the “White Raven” give Miss Barrymore opportunity to wear a variety of costumes. From a dance-hall girl in an Alaskan “honkatonk” 0 to a grand opera prima donna, Miss Barry, more has rare opportunity for contrasts, none of which is neglected. In the first part of the production Miss Barymore, for the first itme in her career, does a song and dance. Never before has she been seen in such a role and it was only because it was absolutely essential to the dramatic value of the picture and because of her unwavering devotion to the screen that she consented to appear in the necessarily bizarre costume.

EVERYBODY'S.

To-night (Tuesday) the proceeds of Everybody ’s Pictures will be devoted to assisting the Catholic Bazaar funds, and to make the entertainment worthy of the occasion the management has decided to put on a double-star programme, A 11 picture-lovers have very pleasant memories of the acting of Miss Violet Mersercau, and in '‘Little Miss Nobody, ” she has a character that fits her like a glove. The drama is a "Blue-bird, ’’ and like most of this company's productions, the photography is superb. The locale of the story is in the great lumber-camps of the far north, and many picturesque scenes add to the interest. "The Bond Between" is a Pallas production, and motif and treatment- are altogether different, and makes a decided appeal to a wide variety of human emotions. The drama has a French setting, the principal character, that of Pierre Duval, being -taken by George Beban. whose only ambitions are, centred round his sou. and it is this son’s adventures which constitute the fascinating and romantic interest of the. story. There will also be the latest edition of the Australian Gazette.
