RATING AMENDMENT ACT, 1910 (Section 28.) PURSUANT to the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that an additional charge of ten per centum will be added to all rates due and unpaic after the 16th day of February, 1918. Legal proceedings will be taken, without further notice, for the recovery cf all rates remaining unpaid together with the ten per cent additional charge thereon after such date. BOROUGH OF TAIHAPE. SPECIAL ORDER. XOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Taihape Borough Council, held on Friday, the eighteenth day of January, 1918, at 7.45 p.m., the following Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order, at the ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held on Friday the 15th day. of February, 1918, at 8 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Hautapu Street, Taihape:— "In pursuance and exercise of the power vested in it in that behalf by 'The Municipal Corporations Act 1908' and all other powers enabling it and with the consent of a majority of the Electors of the hereinafter defined Special areas testified by two petitions each signed by not less than the prescribed number of petitioners the Council of the Borough of i Taihape hereby resolves by Special Order as follows: •' :" \ "For the purpose of extending, the sewerage system of the Borough to lots, 1,2, 3,4, 5,6, 7,8, 9, and 10 on the deposited plan number 186, being part, of Suburban Section 36 Township of Taihape and to Section 37 Township of Taihape. Also to Sections 1,2, 3,4, 5,6, 7 Block XX of the Borough of Taihape the said Council doth hereby make and levy a separate rate of eleven-sixteenths t of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in those special areas of the Borough hereinbefore defined and declares that such rate shall be an annually recurring separate rate payable at the Offices of the Taihape Borough Council, Hautapu Street, during office hours on such dates as all other rates levied by, and payable to the Taihape Borough Council, shall become due.
