Trie City of Cork had forty-two passengers and crew aboard. The torpedo exploded in the engineroom. The vc&esl immediately broke in two ana stalk in four minutes. Twenty-four per tons scrambled into the boats.

Tho "Warspite" boys have been committed for trial. The defence suggested that the boys had revolted against flogging . (It was cabled on the 22nd that the training ship Warspito had been burned to the water's edge, and the act was alleged to have been done by some of tho boys in training on the vessel.)
