PURSUANT to the Section 8 of the ‘The Dog Registration Act 1908”, notice is hcieby given that'the fee for the Registration of dogs for the Borough of Taihape for the year 1918 is now payable at the Town Hall, Hau.apu Street, Taiahpe, or to the duly authorised'collector of such fees, Mr. Robert Savill. >The amount of the fee has been fixed as follows; —For each log kept solely for the purpose of hording or driving sheep or cattle, two shillings and sixpence; for any other dog, ten shillings. SPECIAL ORDER. is 'hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Taihape Borough Council, held on Friday, the eighteenth day of January, 1918, at 7.45 p.m., the following Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order, at the ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held on Friday the 15th day of February, 1918, at 8 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Hautapu Street, Taihape;— “In pursuance and exercise of the power vested in it in that behalf by ‘The Municipal Corporations Act 1908’ and all other powers enabling it and with the consent of a majority of the Electors of the hereinafter defined Special areas testified by two petitions each signed by not less than the prescribed number of petitioners the Council of the Borough of Taihape hereby resolves by Special Order as follows: “For the purpose of extending the sewerage system of the Borough to lots, 1,2, 3,4, 5,6, 7,8, 9, and 10 on the deposited plan number 186, being part of Suburban Section 36 Township of Taihape and to Section 37 Township 0 f Taihape. Also to Sections 1,2, 3,4, 5,6, 7 Block XX of the Borough of Taihape th e said Council doth hereby,make and levy a separate rate of eleven-sixteenths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in those special areas of the Borough hereinbefore denned and declares that such rate shall be an annually recurring separate rate payable at the Offices of the Tai---■hape Borough Council, Hautapu Street, during office hours on such dates as all other rates levied by, and payable to the Taihape Borough Counoil, shall become due. > j “The foregoing Special Order to I come into force and take effect as from the first day of April 1918.” Dated at Taihape this 18th day of January, 1918.
