The “Daily Mail’s'’ Athens correspondent says that the Goeben-Breslau dash was closely connected with Greaco-German intrigues for Constantine ’s restoration. The intention of the raid was to destroy Levant shipping the success of which would enable German agents in Greece to stir up dissension and endeavour to promote civil war.
