WOMEN'S WORKING CLUB.
As usual there came forward by last mail a large number of letters and postcards from soldiers acknowledging receipt of parcels sent by the Taihape Women's Working Club. In view of the public appeal to help in the sending of these parcels for another year it is pleasing to note that the system is working splendidly The parcels are all duly received b; the soldiers, the " contents intact "and in splendid condition, and all thai could be desired by a soldier on duty.
All those interested in the comfort and welfare of our soldiers on active
service are requested to attend the public meeting called for to-night, at 8 o'clock, in the supper room of the Town Hall.
