RUSSIAN CRISIS.
GOADED TO DESPERATION BY TEUTONIC TACTICS. PREPARING TO FIGHT ON. Received 11.45. LONDON, Jan 8. The Daily Express’ Petrograd correspondent states the B'olstfßviks seem to have made up thcit mind tc bludgeon right and left. Having disposed of the Allied Governments, whose ambassadors ar’ on the point >’f departing, they are now engaged in a standing fight with German Imperialism Trotsky recoils in tragic disillusionment from the German interpretation of “self-definition” and probably will follow Kerensky’s example and appeal to the army, which, despite terible disorganisation, remains loyal to the new democracy. It is believed the Bolsheviks are goaded to the last verge of desperation by the Teuton tactics, and are preparing to continue the war in the event of failure to secure pea-jo based <>n democratic principles. The ex-Czar is never mentioned in Petrograd and remains a dreary exile at Tobolsk. He spends his time felling timber.
