The continuance of favourable weather and the B'oche inactivity have enabled me to visit another divisional front where the Australians are holding the line .cables Mr Gordon Gilrnour, Australian Press Association correspondent at the front. I edged my way down deep trenches, past Australians looking clean and fresh " i their steel hats, passing the time by chatting, reading, aad cleaning their weapons. But the night brings work for all. During the day-time there are probably no Germans within 1000 yards of our front line. They retire to "well-dug concealments, but come out like rats at dusk and occupy the foremost pill-boxes in order to watch our movements. Raids, great and small, occasionally provide diversions. Despite the rigours of the weather there is not a shadow 'of depression in the" Australians' line. They never read the war news. Their days are brimful of things that have to be done.
