AMSTERDAM, Dec 24. The Hamburg “Fremdenblatt” states; Germany must not surrender her island possessions in the Pacific. Those naval bases and coaling stations would enable Germany to defy Australian and New Zealand ambitions, check Japan, threaten the western shores of North and South America, and also supply enormous quantities of valuable raw materials. At the conclusion of the Peace Conference it will be found that our South Sea possessions have been consfdefably increased. It must be so
