RUSSIANS STILL jCO-OPERATING LONDON, December 19. Three thousand Russians are co-op-erating with General Marshall in Mesopotamia. They are acting under his orders despite the armistice. INDUSTRIAL CONSCRIPTION THE NECESSITY FOR MORE MEN. The Government is postponing its announcement of its man-power scheme till the New Year, so as to enable discussion by trades union loaders regarding the drastic combing out of munition and other workshops, in which the Government is hampered by Messrs. Hendersons and Asquith’s promises. Sir Eric Geddes assured the Miners’ Federation his of introducing industrial conscription.
