HALIFAX DISASTER.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION SOUGHT. Received 11.15. OTTAWA, Dec 20. Investigators of the Halifax disaster are endeavouring to elucidate how the steamers Imo and Mont, Blanc approached the narrow harbour entrance together. Naval authorities, it appears, controlled all movements of vessels. The investigators are seeking to know who gave orderg alboth vessels to risk passing dangerous spot together.
