The figures are: New South Wales, yes, 130,405, no, 199,440; Victoria, yes, 68,812, no, 71,266; Tasmania, yes, 18,923, no, 18,174. Figures from other States are not yet available. The above was handed in last night and was kept in the Sydney Government office till too late to reach the morning papers. THE LATEST FIGURES. LOYAL WESTERN AUSTRALIA. SOLDIERS’ FIGURES TO COME. Received 9.55. SYDNEY, this day. The latest incomplete returns gives a majority 0 f 153,969 against conscription. The States’ figures are: New South Wales, yes, 224,964, no, 341,248; Victoria, yes, 238,491, no, 254,022; Queensland, yes, 66,785, no, 91,529; South Australia, yes, 58,150, no, 77,280; Westralia, yes, 42,632, no, 22,403; Tasmania, yes, 26,526, no 25,225.
The votes of soldiers at the front is not expected for several weeks.
