WOMEN’S WORKING CLUB.

'A meeting of the Executive of the Women’s Working Club was held in the Club rooms on Friday night, there being present: Messrs W. J. Munro (chair), D. Neagle, Mesdaraes Plummer, Miller, Turnbull, Boyd, Bennett, and Miss Kennedy (hon. sec.) Apology for absence was received from Mrs Shute.

During the month donations were received from 'Mr Ozanne (Hihitahi), £1 Is, Mr McLennan, sen., dOs; Miss A. Briekland, 16s 6d; Miss Cordingly, 10s; Mrs O. L. Shute, 2s; Anonymous, per Mr Shanloy, £l. Any ladies willing to assist with the sewing of parcels are requested to attend at the Club rooms on Mondays and Wednesdays. Accounts amounting to’ £2l 19s 9d w r ere passed for payment, the trustees being authorised to draw £SO from the Post Office Account and pay into the current account.
