NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS
ADVICE TO MERCHANTS
In view of the possibility of pre-1 sent railway resources being taxed to utmost capacity to meet the requirements of passenger traffic for holiday season, merchants and others concerned are invited to forward' all goods traffic for conveyance by. rail to stations at earliest possible moment so as to remove the chance of disappointment through unavoidable delay that may occur later from suspension of goods trains which may possibly cover longer period this year than previously. It is only by this means that the Department will be able to provide facilities to meet the requirements of passenger business during the busy seasott.
