COUNT CZERNIN'S SPEECH.

COMPLETE AUSTRO-GERMAN AGREEMENT. Received 11.20. AMSTERDAM, Dec 9. Cernin, in his speech to a Hungarian delegation, emphasised the complete Austro-German agreement In war aims. There was no obstacle to peace but Alsace-Lorraine. AustroHungary was fighting in Germany's defence as, Germany was fighting for Austro-Hungarians. He saw no difference between Strasburg and Trieste. He added: "It was not impossible that another constellation will enter the general European war situation, and great events would follow on other fronts; thn I should applaud if we fought on other fronts, also together with our Allies." Referring to Italy, Czernin said her best hope was a status quo ante bellum.
