BRITISH POLITICS.

THE REDISTRIBUTION BILL. A COMPROMISE WITH IRELAND. Received 10.40. LONDON, Dec 7. In t&e House of Commons there was a heated debate on the Government proposal to include Ireland in the Redistribution Bill, the Nationalists alleging that the Government was wrecking the Convention. Finally, Mr Redmond appealed to the Government to withdraw the present proposal and introduce an amending measure, as the Nationalists were prepared to give Ulster a fair share of representation. Mr Bonar Law said the 'Government was willing that a committee of two Nationalists and two Ulstermen, under separate chairmanship, to prepare a scheme of redistribution, if the Nationalists would allow the Bill containing the schefee to pass unopposed. Mr Redmond agreed to this course.
