PIYE MONTHS’ GRACE FOR LATEST RECRUITS. BEFORE GOING INTO CAMP. WELLINGTON, Dec 5. At a meeting of the Military Service Board, Captain Baldwin, the military representative, said, “I have just been in communicatioh with the Defence Department, and they have informed me that they are hot anxious to have men sent to camp by the Board before April next.” Captain Baldwin explained to the Press that this virtually meant that, except where the B’oard thinks such a course is inadvisable, no man who comes before the Board will have to go into camp for at least five months.
