THREE STARS The latest Metro “The Elver of Romance,” is founded on the popular novel by K. J. Raih, and is an especially refreshing production. The two exceedingly popular artists, Harold Lockwood and May Alison, are again seen in a delightful open air, sweet,, clean romance, set amid scenes of the greatest beauty among tjhe wonder-* ful Thousand Islands of the St. Lawrence River in Canada. It is no exaggeration to say that never before has. so much scenic beauty been ed into a dramatic story, and even if everything else was weak the beauty of the picture would carry it through.. The Filin does not depend alone on its gorgeous beauty, for there is a story that will strongly interest—charming and romantic episodes—some clever comedy bits and acting that levels up to the highest standard, altogether this picture should prove one of the most attractive Metros, forming an excellent contrast to last weeks picture, andshould retain the business at capacity. Supporting the above are “Ready for the Fnemy,” a Travelog, and a good comedy .
