The Otaihap,e Club Red Cross day, on was a brilliant success, the various workers in the different sections all seeming to 'be doing a highly profitable business. The surprise packets went off like the proverbial hot cakes, and the Boy Scouts skinned the town of coppers two or three times over. Should the Club again commandeer copper coins it is to be -hoped banks will get an extra ton or two of supplies. The full returns from all sources are not yet in, but the Committee hope to report an income of somewhere about £2~O. Real old matured Malt Vinegar!— That’s Lotus brand.
