PALESTINE.

TURKS TIRED OF GERMANS. PARIS, Nov 29. General Bailloud from Palestine, states that the Turks are apathetic, counting on the British ridding them of German guardianship. At daybreak, before Gaza, a Turkish general jumped out of the trenches .followed by an orderly, and entered tie British lines. He explained that the Dardanelles fighting had taught him to appreciate his adversaries. Later in Roumania, his division would not co-operate with the Germans. His corps lost 12,000 out of 16,000, while «the Germans lost about a dozen. He considered the best course to pursue now was to preserve: his life and interest in" Turkey, instead of stupidly sacrificing them for Germany.
