BOWLING NOTES.
HURN CUP. On Wednesday, a rink from Hunter-* ville came up to jilay for this Cup. Unfortunately the visitors had to leave to catch the train before the game was quite finished. Slight fell at intervals during play but did not seriously affect the green which was playing well. The teams were: —Taihape: Drayton Neagle, Evans, Wrightsou (s); Hunterville: Higgins, Berry, Gordon, Clark (s), v i After a good game, the scores an the ISth head (when the visitors had to go) were Taihape 20, Hunterville 13.
