BOWLING NOTES.

HURN CUP BROUGHT BACK. Though unsuccessful in annexing the Keesing Cup at Wanganui on Thursday, the Taihape rink succeeded in winning the Hum Cup, and once more this coveted trophy is, for a time, at any rate, domiciled in Taihape. The contest for the Cup was interesting, though the Taihape team had somewhat the best of the play. Wanganui Club.—Hoggard ? Foster, London, Keesing (skip), 17. Taihape Club.—Drayton, James, Neagle, Wrightson (skip), 23. The Cup is at present on view in Mr D. Neagle's shop window.
