COMFORTS FOR TROOPS. Y.M.C.A IN FRANCE. Free distribution of comforts by secretaries of the Young Men's Christian Association right in the firing line in France was highly spoken of recently in Routine Orders by the general commanding an Australian division in France. In one week one Y.M.C.A. centre distributed free to the men of three packets biscuits, 3,3500 cakes, 14,600 packets cigarettes 500 cigars, 1 750 bars chocolates, 59,700 mugs tea and lemonade, in addition to large quantities of reading and writing material.
