HORSE-BREEDING.

Mr T, Mann, of Raukura, has decided to travel the splendid Clydesdale Young Lonsdale, ’ in the Taihape district this Draught horses -have not increased with the demand and the consequence is that weed* can only be acquired at the highest prices. As settlement increases the demand will proportionately become greater, and when soldier settlement is nearing completion draught horses will be in such demand that they will only be able at fabulous figures. The authforities are aware of the coming demand, and are encouraging breeders to multiply their draught stock wherever possible. Mr Mann, seeing what the needs of this young, fruitful district are likely to be, is offering the services of the best Clydesdale blood in this Dominion. Young Lonsdale is a son of the famous horse Lonsdale Again, (imported) bred by that noted breeder, Fetch, of Little Ayton. On the dam’s side the blood of the greatLord Salisbury comes. S,o that those wanting Clydesdales may place every confidence in Young Lonsdale. MrMann has earned, the thanks and gratulations of this district by putting such a fine animal at the public service.
