DETERMINED AIR FIGHT. LONDON Oct 14. i Sir Douglas Haig reports: A British air partol on Saturday encountered formation double our strength. A determined fight ensued. Four of our machines did not return. Allied machines arrived too late to participate but they saw several enemy machines falling uncontrolled.
