SUDDEN DEATH.
JOHN MORRIS, OF OHUTU. The gad rnteiligence reached the Taihape poh.'.e at a very early tu nr this morning ll.at John Mums nightwatchman at. tne Egmou; Boy Company’s works, at Ohutu, had died very suddenly. It is alleged that the deceased had been fighting with some person about a week ago and had sustained a broken rib; that he seemed to be recovering and was out again on Saturday. Morris, however, took a very sudden turn early this morning and quickly passed away. The deceased was a well-proportioned, apparently robust man, aged 62 years. Dr Mac Diarmid was called in and we learn from Sergeant Matthews that a post mortem examination is to be made, and that an inquest will be held The Mr J. P. Aldridge, will open the inquiry, and then will probably adjourn it to enable evidence to be gathered.
