At the meeting of the Wanganui Education Board on Wednesday, it was decided, on Mr Joblin’s recomto purchase the school building and site at Turangarere. The Prime Minister stated on Tuesday that if a petition signed by 41 [members asking for a dissolution of Parliament was presented to him he would not hesitate to act upon it. Today the member for Grey Lynn Mr J. Payne, drew up a petition in favour of a dissolution and passed it round among members~Tor signature. The matter is not being taken very seriously. By the time the House adjourned .Mr Payne had induced 15 members to sign the petition. Besides himself the names are:—Messrs G. R. Sykes, R. Fletcher, T. A. H. Field, A. E. Glover, J. A. Young, J. T.
