FOOTBALL MATCHES

The following team will represent the Town against the Railway team in .Saturday’s match: —Eaton, Sinclair, Holtham, McDonell, Chase, Takarangi, Bagiev, Salmon, McSweeney, Sinclair, Windsor, Waller, Kelly, Welch, Fitzsimmons, Murphy, Maher, Gieseking. The Town team is a stong side and appears to be the best to take the field this season. The Railway team will put up a good fight and will keep the town busy and one of the best games of the season is promised. Ag this the final football match of the season, it is hoped the public will bear this in mind and help the Nurses Fund along and incidentally help the footballers to realise their objective namely £IOO from the football matcres of this season. Individually it has cost each footballer several pounds to help the different patriotic funds and all the reward •they expect is the public support in the final match.
