NEW AEROPLANE .MOTOR. A MOST ACHIEVEMENT. Received 8.40. WASHINGTON Sept. 13. Mr. Baker announces that after many weeks of conference and experiments by engineer's and inventors a remarkable military aeroplane motor bas been produced. It is regarded as one of the great achievements of the war, combining power, lightness and reliability. Engineers worked for five days and nights without intermission on tests, with complete success. There is much gratification at Argentina's action. The State Department awaits Sweden's explanation. It is estimated that the Alien Conscription will affect more than a million friendly aliens.
