WAR LOAN

MONEY STILL COMING IN. “Money is still coming in for the War Loan,” stated the Minister for Finance. “A man wired from Dunedin yesterday, asking if could be accepted, and I at once replied accepting it. Trustees, friendly societies, and companies (added the Minister), of course, will be allowed time to subscribe'after the bill is finally through the other branch of the Legislature. It will probably be through on Thursday next. Cables from London, and telegrams from all over the New which were very numerous, 'tJil express great pleasure at the success of the loan. A cable from a legal man in' London, who moves in the big financial circles, says, in addition to the usual congratulations, that the loan i s being talked about in all his circles. It will clearly be a good advertisement for the Dominion.”
