CONCESSION TO ARGENTINA. Received 10.45. LONDON August 29. * > The German Note to the Argentine says that owing to its strong desire to remain friendly with the Argentine, Germany agrees to modify the submarine blockade to the extent of not attacking Argentine ships carryonly foodstuffs. The Argentine approves the Note.
