descriptions of frozen j meat. Homekilled mutton and beef are in good supply, and are selling at comparatively low prices. N.Z. mutton, B|d; ewe mutton, Btd; Argentine mutton, lOd; N.Z. lamb (smajl supply) lOd; Argentine lamb lid. N.Z. beef. No supplies available, with the exception of N.Z. boneless beef, quoted at lOd. Argntine beef: Quotations are nominal. Hinds, 14d; fores, lOid. Butter and cheese—Maximum prices are unchanged. Butter is in small supply, and the market i s firm. * For Danish there are no quotations. I Of New Zealand no supplies are av-! ailable, and no quotations are given. Irish creamery: Heavy buying by Home and Continental trade. Salted, 206/; unsalted, 209/. Argentine: 1 No supplies avaiable; no quotations. The cheese market i s firm. English Cheddar, 132/ Hemp—The Manila market continues firm, but quotations are irregular, and business is restricted, especially : for forward shipment, owing to the possibility of th e 1 Government controlling prices.
