TO MY LATE CUSTOMERS.
I find that I am compelled to give up my bakery business and thereby lose my all. I have exhausted _aj(ll possible means to secure a baker to take my son's place, w-ho has gone into camp. I could, with the assistance so kindly offered by Mr Milne,. Mr Denness, and Mr Pitt, have continued until I had time to consult theEfficiency Board, but a large number of my old customers have left me owing to my uncertain ability to supply them. To them and all other patrons I tender my sincerest thanks for their past support. lam left in my old age to battle with a loss from which I can never recover. Ido not complain, it is what I have to suffer in the fight for freedom and liberty. I heartily thank Messrs Milne, Denness and Pitt, who so generously offered to bake my bread, and I regret that through loss of customers I cannot avail myself ,of their help. Yours faithfully, THOS. P. RANSOM.
