TURAKINA SUNK... SEVERAL LIVES LOST. WELLINGTON, this day. The Government has been advised that the N.Z. Shipping Go’s. Turakina has been sunk on her return ourney to the ' Dominion. Several lives were lost.
SERIOUS MOTOR ACCIDENT. HASTINGS, this day. Mrs Arthur Hobart had her right too* amputated on Saturday night as the result of being knocked down by a motor cyclist named Eric Hall. DEATH .OF .PROMINENT .FREEMASON.. DUNEDIN, this day. Obituary: Rev. William Ronaldson, aged 94. He Avas Avell-known throughout New Zealand, and was formerly Grand Secretary of the Freemasons. He came to New Zealand in 1858 on missionary to Wairarapa Maoris.
