G R E E o E. CONCESSIONS TO GREECE. CAUSE DISSATISFACTION IN ITALY. Received 10 a.m. ROME, July 30. The Idea Nazionale declares the Balkan Conference overlooked Italy’s interests in southern Ablania, which is an especially important question. The strategical control of Corfu and Corinth Canal was decided in favour of Greece, despite the latter’s two years’ hostility to thev Allies,while Italy has been valuably contributing to the Allied cause. A NEW KINGDOM. LONDON, July 29. The Serbian Government, announces, that a conference of Ministers, exMinisters and the Southern Slav committee was held at Corfu. A far-reach-ing agreement was signed, establishing a kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes under the Karageorgevitch dynasty. King Peter will in future be called King of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, and the kingdom wall comprise Serbia, and all the territories in AustroHungary wherein Croats and Slovenes predominate, containing in all twelve million inhabitants. The kingdom guarantees to be a powerful bulwark against Germany aggression and the unfailing ally of civilised states and peoples. The constituted assembly after the war will draft a constitution. ROUMA N I A. ROUMANIANS ENLARGE THEIR VICTORY. LONDON, July 29. Roumanian communique.—On the 2*6th we enlarged the breaches northward in the enemy front, and seized the whole of our old position on a width of thirty kilometres and to a depth of fifteen kiloniStres. We have prisonered 1145 and taken two batteries of howitzers and nine guns. A FURTHER ADVANCE. LONDON, July 30. Austrian wireless: The enemy have somewhat advanced their front on the Putna. Their attacks were repulsed near Soveja. Allied forces are approaching the western frontier of Bukovina. Russian official.—On the Roumanian front the Roumanians progressed in the direction of Keznid Vasarhely ( a railway town in Transylvania about 15. north-west of the Moldavian and occupied a line of heights west of Monastir-Kakachi-noul, also other heights. GERMAN STORY. LONDON, July 29. A German official message says: The artillery duel in Flanders reached the highest degree of intensity during the war. Desperate local fighting is proceeding. English attacks failed eastward of Monchy, near Arras. Four French attacks south-east-ward of Allies failed. We shot down thirty-five aeroplanes. The Russians on both sides' of the Sniatyn, in the Bukowina, retired "behind the frontier We reached Zbruez, and are also approaching the confluence of the northern Sereth arid the Dneister.
